PayGo

This is a cash only payment application that can be used at participating retailers. You will need cash and your barcode that is specific to the account you wish to make payment on. Your barcode can be found on your monthly bill. To see a list of participating retailers and to access your barcode online visit https://pgemc.meridiancheckout.com. A fee of $1.50 will apply to each transaction.

Payment By Telephone

To make a payment on your account by phone please call 252-643-5643, this will direct you to our automated IVR system. This number is accessible 24/7. (Note that the banks charge businesses a processing fee for each debit and credit card transaction. This applies to Pitt and Greene EMC as well. We are charged a processing fee of 2.45% on each transaction. A fee of 2.45% of your total bill will be charged to offset what the bank charges us.)

Bank Drafts

Your co-op can notify your bank of the amount of your electric bill. Payment is made from the member’s bank account directly to the co-op. A bill is still sent to the member to show how much electricity was used and the total amount of the bill and draft date.

E-Check

Visit our website at pgemc.com to set up your account to pay by E-Check. Once you have set this up, going forward you will be able to pay your bill by visiting the website or calling the IVR system at 252.643.5643. Processing fees DO NOT apply when payments are made by E-Check.

Moneygram

Visit WalMart or CVS to make payment using moneygram. (1.99 fee)

Night Deposit

A night deposit box is located at the headquarters office in Farmville, NC and the branch office in Snow Hill, NC. Payment may be made in these boxes after office hours, weekends, and holidays.
